Is this cruise suitable for children? /Are there any age restrictions?
No, there aren’t any age restrictions. Our cruises are suitable for all ages, from the young to the elderly.
Can I bring my own alcohol or beverages onboard?
No, unfortunately, it is not possible. Alcoholic drinks are not allowed, except for the beverages already provided onboard by our crew.
Is there access to Wi-Fi?
There isn’t access to Wi-Fi, as we prioritize our guests’ relaxation, tranquility, and enjoyment away from screens.
Do you offer options for guests with dietary restrictions?
Our menu caters to various dietary needs, including those with restrictions on meat, seafood, and vegetables.
What is the approximate pick-up/drop-off time?
For the morning cruise, the approximate pick-up time is at 09:00, and for the sunset cruise, it’s approximately at 14:00. One day prior to the cruise, we will contact you to provide the exact time and all necessary information, including the driver’s details and license plate number. Regarding the drop off time, we estimate it to be approximately one hour after returning to the marina.
Do I need to bring my passport?
No, passports are not needed for the cruise.
Which areas are included in the complimentary transfer zone?
Our company provides complimentary transportation from any place in the central of Athens.
Do you provide Kosher or Halal meals?
We do not provide halal/kosher meat. However, we do have other options such as grilled calamari, Greek salad, and other traditional Greek Food.
Is smoking permitted?
No, smoking is not permitted. Only vaping is allowed.
What is a fair/generous tip amount?
Normally our guests tip is about 15-20%… only if they are happy with our service.
Do you provide extra services such as floral bouquets, rose petals, balloons, or garlands?
We’d like to inform you that our company doesn’t offer such services. We prioritize environmental conservation and avoid contributing to marine pollution.
Do you have life vests available?
Our company provides life vests and noodles to guests who need them.
Do you provide towels, snorkeling equipment and sunscreen?
Our company provides sunscreen, fresh towels, snorkeling equipment (goggles/snorkel) free of charge.
Is there a dress code?
There isn’t any dress code. We recommend casual clothes, your swimwear and maybe a light jacket.
What type of music is played? There is the possibility to play our playlist?
The type of music played is primarily lounge. However, if you will book a private cruise, it is possible to bring with you a USB with your preferred music and play your own favorite songs during the tour.
What type of wine do you provide? Is it possible a red one?
The wine available is white. Unfortunately, red wine in not allowed aboard, due to the red stains that it leaves on the white gel coat.
Why do we need to provide the lead passenger passport number?
The port authorities require this information for each passenger for identification reasons.
Until when is it possible to inform/change the number and the names of the guests?
It is necessary to provide all the information at least 2 days prior, as we need to provide it to the port authorities.
Ιs it possible to book a half day trip without food?
Of course, it is possible. In that case, please kindly contact info@sailingathens.com for information on the exact price.
Is there a fresh water hose onboard to rinse off sea water after swimming?
Yes, there is water hose aboard in case you want to use it after swimming.
Are there jellyfish in any of the swimming areas where the boat stops?
Our cruises are taking place in one of the saltiest seas in the world. So, it is difficult for the jellyfish to leave there. Up to now, no safety issue has come up aboard.
I don’t know how to swim, is it still ok to go for the sailing trip ?
Could I do the snorkeling and other stuffs with a safety harness of some sort?
You can definitely participate in one of our cruises. Our crew will give you the necessary floating equipment and you will be able to swim
Do you have toilets and changing rooms?
Absolutely! Our vessels are fully equipped with toilets and changing rooms for your convenience.

How much does transportation cost for an area that is not included in the complimentary transfer zone?
The cost is determined by the number of guests and the area.
